Poolside at The Highlands Inn: Serving the lesbian community with quality and excellence since 1983.The Inn has 19 guest rooms, all with private baths, air conditioning, hair dryers, and TV/VCRs. Several rooms have special amenities, such as a private deck, fireplace, two-person spa, or both a spa and fireplace.

Rooms and common areas are furnished with antiques, fine linens, original artwork, and fresh flowers, creating the ambiance of a Victorian country home. In keeping with the Victorian atmosphere, guest rooms feature distinctive period pieces; many have a four-poster or canopy bed handcrafted by local craftsmen.

TV reception in the guest rooms is limited, but we have a 32-inch flat screen satellite TV in the comfortable public TV area and an excellent lesbian/gay video collection.

All rates are for 1-2 persons, per night. Rates include a full breakfast, afternoon snacks, coffee and tea, use of the indoor and outdoor spas, and depending on the season, use of the swimming pool or snowshoes.

Cancellation Policy

An advance deposit is required on all reservations.  The deposit will equal 1/2 of the total charge for the room.

 

Cancellation policy: 

There is a $25 processing fee on ALL cancellations.  The deposit less the $25 fee will be refunded on cancellations received more than 7 days prior to scheduled arrival.  For cancellations received 7 days or less prior to scheduled arrival, we will gladly apply your deposit (less the $25 fee) towards a future stay if we are able to re-rent your room. If we are not able to re-rent your room, the deposit will be forfeited.  For holiday periods, cancellations must be received at least 14 days prior to scheduled arrival.

Pets - Your pet may join you at the Farmhouse or the Cottage for $10 per night. Additional pets are $10 per night for each pet.

 

 

 

Guest Rewards Cards

  • Get 1 stamp for each $50 paid on room charges (excluding taxes, not rounded up). Stamps will not be given for any non-room portion of Romance, Honeymoon, or other packages; donated gift certificates; souvenirs; gift baskets, flowers, wine or champagne, or any other incidental charges or expenses.
  • Cards are free to guests. There is no start-up fee or charge.
  • Cards are non-transferable.
  • To receive your stamps, you must have the card with you at the time of your stay.

REDEEMING YOUR CARD

  • Completed card is worth $100 on a future stay.
  • Redeemable only for room charges (excluding taxes). Valid only on non-holidays. Minimum stay may be required.
  • Card must be surrendered when redeemed.
  • Not replaced if lost or stolen.
  • Not redeemable for cash, credit, gift certificates, or deposits. No cash back.

  • All rooms and common areas are nonsmoking. By New Hampshire law, we cannot allow smoking in any of the Inn buildings. You may smoke anyplace outside.
  • All rates are subject to 8% New Hampshire State Tax on rooms and meals.
  • Check-in time is from 3:00 pm to 10:00 pm; if you'll be later, please let us know in advance.
  • Check-out time is 11:00 am.
  • Payment by VISA, MC, travelers check, or cash.

Romance Packages

The Highlands Inn is the perfect place for your romantic getaway! Our Special Romance Package includes your room with private bath, a country breakfast every morning, and a basket filled with champagne, chocolates, and other goodies. Our Deluxe Romance Package includes all this and more. You'll get a special souvenir and a fresh floral arrangement to welcome you, and you can even have breakfast in your room one morning! (Breakfast in room not available in Farmhouse.)

Two-night Special Packages start at just $260 per couple for a standard double bed room; two-night Deluxe Packages start at $305 for a double bed room. Rates are higher for rooms with a queen or king-size bed. Longer stays are available for both packages.

Honeymoon Packages

We have two fabulous HONEYMOON PACKAGES! Our Special Honeymoon Package includes your room with private bath, a fresh floral arrangement, a basket full of treats and surprises, breakfast in your room one morning (not available in Farmhouse), and champagne with two commemorative champagne glasses! The Special Package starts at $430 for a 3-night stay in a standard double bed room..

The Deluxe Honeymoon Package includes everything in the Special Package PLUS ONE HOUR OF MASSAGE. The Deluxe Package starts at $650 for a 4-night stay in a double bed room. Rates are higher for rooms with a queen or king-size bed. Longer stays are available for both packages.
