  • Heather Rose, January 8-10: Winner of 4 Providence Phoenix Best Music Poll Awards, including Best Female Vocalist and Best Song “Here Again”, Heather Rose's melodic, magnetic vocals follow in the tradition of Sheryl Crow, Liz Phair, and Aimee Mann. Boston's The Noise, where Heather took home Best Female Singer in 2001, wrote “She can sing sweetly or lustily, scream righteously, and draw the audience in. Her songs are folky, gently twangy, and lovely.” Whether she’s performing solo or rocking the stage with her band Heather Rose & The Drama, you’ll hear wailing rock anthems, slower pop ballads, country twanged ditties, and of course Heather’s trademark break-up tunes. Heather's pop-rock sensibility and numerous musical styles create a new interpretation of rock to make you think, feel and move. www.heatherroserocks.com
