The Inn's gracious common areas make it easy to socialize with other guests, if you wish. Guests love being able to meet and socialize with other lesbians from all over the country, whether chatting at breakfast, joining another couple for dinner at a wonderful local restaurant, or sharing a bottle of wine in the spacious fireplaced living room. In fact, many couples who've been visiting the Inn for years have said that they first met some of their best friends here!
From our guests ...
"We'd like to thank you and your employees for making last weekend wonderful for us! The flowers and basket of treats in our room made our Anniversary/Valentine's get-away special. Your inn is comfortable and lovely. We hope to return to hike the trails in the Spring/Summer and to view Fall foliage! Perhaps we'll get some of our friends to escape with us one weekend!" -Kathe & Sue
"Just a note to let you know we had a wonderful time at your lovely Inn. We appreciate the bag of goodies you sent us home with and the champagne you surprised us with upon our return to our room on our wedding day. The Inn is a very special place and perfectly situated in the beautiful White Mountains - we can't imagine having celebrated our wedding/20th Anniversary any other place!" -Bet & Michele
"Thank you for such a wonderful time! The Inn is beautiful and we felt so relaxed. This was our first visit,
but I'm sure we will be back many times. Breakfast was great!" -Amy & Stephanie
"My partner Marianne and I stayed at the Inn this past weekend. I wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed ourselves. It was a very much needed getaway for both of us and the setting was perfect. The other women we met around the breakfast tables were wonderful. You have the perfect counter to all the aggravations we face in our straight world." -Patty & Marianne
"It was the warmest, friendliest and most relaxing vacation we could have hoped for!" -Kathy & Emily
" We met people that we will be friends with forever. There are two in particular that hold a dear place in our hearts. We hit it off immediately with them. We are already planning our trip to see them in Wisconsin. We are also planning trips back to the Inn together." -Jackie & Abby
"I had a great time at your Inn! I am single and was a little concerned about being at a place where most of the other guests would be couples. I shouldn't have worried! The other guests could not have been friendlier. I joined two couples for dinner Saturday night, did some hiking, and got the R&R I needed. Thanks!" -Debbie

In the summer, guests enjoy the 54-foot pool with its large sundeck, adjacent gazebo, and barbecue area. The outdoor spa is also adjacent to the pool. The large private indoor spa is located in a room off the breakfast room - use of the spas is complimentary.

Other popular activities at the Inn include watching a movie from the extensive lesbian/gay movie collection, browsing through the large library, or finally reading that book you've been waiting to read. Guests also enjoy watching the wildlife, which is constantly changing depending on the season!
Many guests also enjoy a massage in the privacy of their room. Appointments must be made in advance.
And sunsets at the Inn are not to be missed! A walk down the road or a few quiet minutes sitting on the grassy hill near the Main Inn will often reward guests with a spectacular sunset over the mountains. In the fall, the same vistas are ablaze with the rich colors of nature's autumn palette.
Evening activities center around the great old stone fireplace in the spacious, comfortably furnished living room. It's here that guests congregate for conversation, a glass of wine before dinner, or a game of Scrabble on a snowy night. As many guests have mentioned, there's always plenty to do at this very special women's place.
The Inn has been offering hospitality to visitors for over 100 years. The main building was built as a farmhouse about 200 years ago. Then around 1900, the owners opened their home to summer visitors and began operating it as an inn.
The innkeeper, Grace, bought the property in 1983 and completely renovated the main building, grounds, and swimming pool. Three years later, she bought and restored the Farmhouse, a charming, 200-year old house that's the oldest house in Bethlehem and just a short walk from the Main Inn. The Cottage was opened in September 1990.
In recognition of her work, GO Magazine selected Grace as one of their "100 Women We Love, Class of 2010." GO is a widely distributed lesbian publication - "the cultural roadmap for the city girl."

The Main Inn has 13 delightful, antique-filled guest rooms. Three of the rooms are on the back of the building. Each of these rooms has its own outside entrance and private deck. The main building also houses the enormous sunny breakfast room, the spacious living room with its inviting fireplace and library, the public TV area, an extensive lesbian/gay movie collection, and the private indoor spa.

The Farmhouse has five attractive guest rooms and a full, eat-in kitchen. The rooms are charmingly decorated with antiques and lovely linens. In warm weather, the front porch provides a comfortable place for Farmhouse guests to relax and socialize.
Our rustic Cottage is ideal for two to four people. The first floor has a living area with kitchen table and chairs, queen-size futon, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and full bath. The small upstairs sleeping loft has a queen size bed. And there's a deck on the front of the Cottage - great for moose and deer watching!
We have a 32-inch flat screen satellite TV in the comfortable public TV area and an excellent lesbian/gay movie collection for in-room viewing.

Your pets are welcome to join you at the Cottage or Farmhouse. There is a small charge per night for each pet.
